I have cataracts; do I have coverage for treatment under the Retiree Plan even though I do have a vision benefit?
Vision services for medical conditions such as cataracts or diabetes will be billed under your medical benefit.

You only have your medical coverage through Cigna or Anthem. If you have a separate vision benefit, it is through EyeMed. If you have a separate dental benefit, it is through Delta Dental (unless otherwise specified). Prescription coverage is through MedOne.

You should use an In-Network Urgent Care facility for non-life threatening illness or injury as the copay is less than had you gone to the emergency room for treatment.

All scans/imaging must have pre-certification through CIGNA prior to the date of service. In order to receive the maximum benefit you should use a in-network imaging facility.
